1. Introduction

Welcome to PCBCare ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Nikhil Panjwani in Jabalpur, India. This Privacy Policy applies to both our websites: pcbcare.in (our business website) and shop.pcbcare.in (our online shop and technician tools). Where something applies to only one of them, we say so.

PCBCare provides appliance PCB repair services and information about error codes, wiring diagrams and technical tips, and sells used or second-hand spare parts, including printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sensors for air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators and microwaves.

This Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can control it. We collect only what we need. Where the law requires your consent we ask for it separately, and you can withdraw it at any time.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account information (shop.pcbcare.in)

Creating an account is optional. If you create one, we store:

• Name and email address (from your sign-up or Google sign-in).
• Sign-in identifiers managed by Google/Firebase, our authentication provider. We never see your Google password. If you add a passkey, we store its public key; your fingerprint or face data never leaves your device.
• Optional profile details you choose to add: phone number, city, state, country, Instagram ID, years of experience and area of specialisation.
• Account status and activity: whether your account is approved, and when you were last active.
• A record of your agreement: the date and time you agreed to this Policy and which version you agreed to, so we can show that consent was given.

2.2 Visit information

• Our own visit counter (shop.pcbcare.in): a random session identifier, the page visited and your browser/device description, so we can see which pages are used. It has no name, email or IP address. Records are deleted after 90 days.
• Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical data such as IP address and request details to deliver and protect both websites.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads: only if you accept them (see Section 6).

2.3 Orders

Customers normally discuss and confirm orders with us on WhatsApp. When we record an order we store the customer name, delivery address, phone number, the items, amount, courier and tracking details, to fulfil and deliver the order, issue the invoice, handle returns and warranty, and keep accounting records.

The "My Order" page shows an order only to someone who knows both the order number and the last 4 digits of the phone number on the order. Repeated wrong attempts are blocked.

2.4 Support requests, messages and reviews (shop.pcbcare.in)

If you send a support or part request, chat with us about it, or write a review, we store what you submit (text, any photos, and the name you entered). Before you submit a review you agree that your name and review will be shown publicly once we approve it. Please do not include passwords, ID numbers, payment details or other people's personal information in requests or photos.

2.5 Invoice Generator (shop.pcbcare.in)

If you use the Invoice Generator, the customer details you enter (name, phone number, address) and the invoices you create are stored so you can access them later. You confirm, before saving, that your customer knows and has agreed to this. We process these details only on your behalf, and they are deleted when you delete your account.

2.6 Games (shop.pcbcare.in)

If you play our multiplayer games, we store the name you enter, the game moves, in-game chat messages and a random game session identifier. Game rooms and chat are deleted automatically 30 days after their last activity. A leaderboard shows the name you entered and your score, and stays until you ask us to remove it.

2.7 Contacting us (pcbcare.in)

pcbcare.in has no sign-up and no forms. If you call, message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive the details you send (for example your name, phone number and the problem you describe) and use them to reply to you and provide the service. Those messages also sit on the call, WhatsApp or email service you used.

2.8 Google reviews

pcbcare.in shows reviews from our public Google Business Profile, fetched from Google. They appear with the name the reviewer chose on Google.

2.9 Payments

Our websites do not take payments and we do not collect card or banking details through them.

3. How We Use Personal Information

1. To create, identify and authenticate accounts and let you use account features.
2. To fulfil, deliver, invoice and support orders, returns and warranty claims.
3. To answer calls, messages, support requests and reviews.
4. To operate, secure and improve the websites, and prevent abuse.
5. To measure visits and the performance of our advertising, only where you have allowed it.
6. To comply with legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without a legal basis or your consent.

4. Consent

You tick a box agreeing to this Policy before an account is created, and we record when. If you signed up before we kept that record, we ask you once to confirm. Profile details are optional. Analytics and advertising are requested separately (Section 6) and are not needed to use the websites. You can withdraw any consent at any time (Section 11); withdrawing does not affect what we did before.

5. Used and Second-Hand Products

Products offered are used or second-hand items, not new products. Their condition, testing status, compatibility, warranty and availability are described on the listing or confirmed with us before you order. Product condition does not change the privacy protections in this Policy.

6. Cookies, Browser Storage, Analytics, Advertising and Maps

Both websites use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember your choices. These are needed for the websites to work. The full list is in our Cookie Policy.

We also use Google Analytics (to understand how visitors use the websites) and Google Ads (to measure which ads lead to enquiries, including clicks on our WhatsApp links). These can use cookies and similar identifiers and send information to Google.

They are off by default on both websites. They turn on only if you press "Accept" in the notice shown on your first visit. You can press "Reject", and you can change your choice at any time: use the 🔒 button at the top of shop.pcbcare.in or "Privacy settings" in the footer of pcbcare.in. Your choice is stored in your browser, separately for each website.

Google Maps: pcbcare.in shows our location only if you press "Show map". Until then no connection to Google is made; pressing it shares your IP address and device details with Google.

7. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We use these service providers, who process information for us or for the purpose shown:

• Supabase (database and file storage): stores account, order, support, invoice and game data, and uploaded photos. Privacy Policy
• Vercel (hosting): delivers both websites and processes technical request data. Privacy Policy
• Google / Firebase (sign-in on shop.pcbcare.in). Privacy and Security
• Google Analytics and Google Ads (only if you accept; see Section 6).
• Google Maps (only if you press "Show map" on pcbcare.in) and the Google Places service that supplies our Google reviews.
• Google Search Console (how the websites appear in Google Search; it does not give us visitors' names or emails).
• WhatsApp (messaging): when you follow a contact or order link you leave our website and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
• Couriers (for example Delhivery): your name, address and phone number are given to the courier delivering your order.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it or to protect rights or safety. We do not share account information with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

8. Retention and Deletion

• Account data, support requests, messages, your reviews, your consent record: kept until you delete your account (you can do this yourself, see Section 11).
• Visit counter records: deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Game rooms, names and chat: deleted automatically 30 days after last activity. Leaderboard entries stay until you ask us to remove them.
• Failed "My Order" lookup records (a scrambled form of the IP address and the order number): deleted after 30 days.
• Orders and related invoices: kept for as long as needed for warranty, returns, accounting and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised. They are not linked to your website account, so deleting the account does not remove an order record. Ask us if you want an order record reviewed for deletion.
• Backups and providers: data may remain for a limited time in provider backups and logs after deletion.
• Google Analytics / Ads: according to Google's retention settings.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including: encrypted (HTTPS) connections; access to account, support and order data only through our own server, which checks who is asking before it answers; limits on repeated guesses of order details; and keeping administrator access separate from ordinary user access.

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

10. International Processing

Some providers listed above process information on servers outside India. We transfer personal information only to providers that handle it under their own privacy commitments, and in line with Indian law.

11. Your Rights and How to Use Them

You can:

• Download a copy of your account data: on shop.pcbcare.in sign in, press the 🔒 button at the top, then "Download my data".
• Delete your account and the data linked to it: 🔒 button, then "Delete account".
• Correct your details by editing your profile, or by asking us.
• Change or withdraw your analytics and advertising choice at any time (Section 6).
• Ask us anything else, including access to or deletion of an order, game or leaderboard record, or to make a complaint. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

To make a request, email nikhil.panjwani.2017@gmail.com with the subject "PCBCare Privacy Request". We aim to reply within 30 days, and in any case within the time the law requires. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. Our Grievance Redressal page explains the process.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India after first raising the matter with us.

12. Children's Privacy

PCBCare is intended for adults and professional appliance technicians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 and we do not knowingly track or target advertising at them. If you are under 18, please do not create an account, and please ask a parent or guardian before playing our games, and do not enter your real full name there. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us (Section 14) and we will remove it.

13. Legal Compliance and Updates

This Policy is intended to be read together with Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules in force at the time. We may update it when our business, the websites or the law change. We will change the "Last Updated" date above and, where the law requires, give you notice or ask for your consent again.
